2021 ended with the participation in many tradeshows: Montreal (Quebec) and St Hyacinthe in collaboration with our partner Bectrol to present our charging station KEYWATT 24 Wallbox. Our product has won over a new type of customer: a manufacturer of electric snowmobiles, Taiga Motors.
In December, Taiga Motors announced that it had completed production of its first customer-facing snowmobiles and now hopes to obtain the necessary approvals from the authorities to deliver the first units at the beginning of the year.
At the same time, Taiga Motors had announced earlier in the year the creation of an off-road electric charging network which, in December, hosted its first 250-km loop of trails through the forests of the Mauricie and Lanaudiere in Quebec.
The first two charging slots have each slow chargers (level 2), as well as two DC fast chargers (level 3) capable of recharging snowmobiles up to 80% in 30 minutes.
These two stops, located about 50 kilometers apart, allow radial access to hundreds of kilometers of trails through picturesque Quebec.
On this project, Bectrol has become a partner as an integration of charging solutions for the Taiga Motors project team and IES Synergy the supplier of fast charging stations.
